Fever cont

As i'm trying to entertain myself at home,

I found this one from michael buble's self entitled album

Fever - Michael Buble

Never know how much I love you, never know how much I care
When you put your arms around me, I get a fever that's so hard to bear
You give me fever - when you kiss me, fever when you hold me tight
Fever - in the the morning, fever all through the night.
Sun lights up the daytime, moon lights up the night
I light up when you call my name, and you know I'm gonna treat you right
You give me fever - when you kiss me, fever when you hold me tight
Fever - in the the morning, fever all through the night.

Everybody's got the fever, that is something you all know
Fever isn't such a new thing, fever started long ago.
Romeo loved Juliet, Juliet she felt the same
When he put his arms around her, he said "Julie baby you're my flame"
Thou givest fever, when we kisseth, fever with thy flaming youth
Fever - I'm a fire, fever yea I burn for soothe.
Captain Smith and Pocahontas had a very mad affair
When her Daddy tried to kill him, she said "Daddy-O don't you dare"
Give me fever - with his kisses, fever when he holds me tight
Fever - I'm his Missus, Oh daddy won't you treat him right.

Now you've listened to my story, here's the point I have made:
Chicks were born to give you fever, be it Fahrenheit or Centigrade
They give you fever - when you kiss them, fever if you live and learn
Fever - till you sizzle, what a lovely way to burn.
What a lovely way to burn.
What a lovely way to burn.

Fever

Fever!
Nope its not that friday night fever
Fever!
Yeah its that burning sensation
Fever!
You're ain't going nowhere
Fever!
You stay home and rest

SIGH

Let your kingdom come, and your will be done

Father show me your consuming fire,
so I may trust and believe you today
To be in awe, to dwell in your presence
be refreshed and renewed once again

Breathing in your spirit,
Marvelling at your works
Feast from your word and drinking from the living fount
Help me gain strength for the rigours today

God Speaks in Volumes!

Been awhile since i last updated the blog...
yeah really thank God for showing me so many interesting things for the past few weeks.

In line with my cell's study programme recently based on the book, The Life You've Always Wanted by John Ortberg

I've been making special effort to enjoy everyday that God has created for me. Especially in the usual mundane things that I do, like brushing my teeth (i started flossing my teeth regularly!), walking on the street alone (i get that alot), taking my time to chew my food.

Perhaps life has flown by these 22 years in such a way that I don't even know what I'm doing what I'm doing sometimes. So i think its probably only appropriate to take stock, reorganise, rest and slow things down alittle.

John Ortberg says that we have been guilty beings of rushing here and there, and even in any moment we are worrying about the next activity and we merely live a (i-just-pack-my-schedule-and-fufil-them-one-by-one) kinda lifestyle. I realise i have been guilty of this as long as forever - some people often say i'm perfectionistic (thats a story for another time) and i can't relax. Well now i don't take these comments that seriously now because I believe some things they say actually have some biblical truth to it too.

Having said that,

Phil 4:6-7 has been speaking to me in volumes the past few days - its like God's speaking these words to me audiably!

John, Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to Me, your God. And the peace of God, which trancends all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus.
Amen!
