Thank God for a good first week.

Managed to get my electives, got a feel of what each module is all about and having fun just being around with my friends... i can't be more contented.

My church has started this 40 days together in community series just last week and this week's theme is centred around love. Love not just merely worldy and selfish love. But an agape love(unconditional) which in some ways deemed as 'supernatural' love. Because its something that is not part of our nature. Its just so hard to love! especially those who are so unlovable. sheesh (i can just think of a few right now)

If we have truly experienced God's love (and wanna continue dwelving and experiencing this breakthrough kind of love), we would wanna allow God's love to flow through us to love others as well. Its like modelling after Jesus.

God's love for us gives us the reason to love others
God's love in us gives us the ability to love others
God's love through us gives us the way to love others

So God please help me to not be fussy about who to love. i think i'm guilty of loving only those whom i want to love. And even for those who love me, i wanna learn how to cherish them, think about them and pray for them as well. I should stop taking people for granted.

Maybe in this way, continually loving others, i would be able to stop thinking that i'm unloved, useless, slow or whine that im the only child and engage in all that self pity once again.

So help me to go about doing it.

Yup.

Prayer Requests - Pray that i can go about committing to my current commitments and at the same time manage time and money wisely. And godly wisdom and guidance even as i take up new commitments.
